I had a bit of a jolly into London a few weekends ago with some friends. We all met in Kaffine on Great Titchfield Street for coffee (or hot chocolate in my case).
Kaffine is a cute little cafe just a short walk from Oxford Circus, and even though it’s tucked away on a side street, you still have to fight for a table. The bare brick and wooden walls, and benches give a great laid back feel, and the staff are brilliant. You could literally waste hours of your day just sitting reading a book and getting hyped up on caffeine here. You can check them out on http://www.kaffeine.co.uk/Home.html.
We then took the obligatory trip to Topshop and I spent a while mentally picking things up and buying them. From there we ventured into Selfridges as you do, and casually spent an hour fleeing between MAC, NARS, Tom Ford and Clarins, unable to resist buy something, just anything!
Lunch was next on the agenda, but not before stopping at Ben’s Cookies on Oxford Street to buy cookies of course, which were amazing. http://www.benscookies.com will give you all the lush information you need!
Lunch and cocktails were at the chic B-Soho on Poland Street where I managed to chomp my way through a sizeable Margareta pizza and then washed it down with a Bellini. you can book a table by visiting b-soho.co.uk.
After lunch was demolished we wandered back towards Covent Garden were I bid farewell to the girls, while they carried on to Dirty Martini in search of more cocktails. Home was calling, and my feet where obeying.
