Mars Bar Melts

I saw these delicious little devils on The Londoners blog, and my stomach basically took over and I had to make them!

I’ve adapted the quantities of the recipe slightly but all I used to make 16 of these melts was:

1 box of Betty Crocker Devils Food Cake mix
3 medium eggs
7 1/2 tbsp olive oil
3 mars bars

Set your oven to gas mark 6.

First of all mix the dry BC mixture with the eggs and oil:

Then cut up the mars bars into bite sized pieces:

Roll the mars pieces in the mixture, I used my hands to get a nice round shape. Place each ball onto a tray covered in grease proof baking paper:

Place in the oven on the middle shelf for 7-10 minutes. Once done, remove and set on a wire rack to cool down (if the melts are still quite soft, keep on the baking paper).

If you’re like me and you can’t wait..then just tuck in!!

N.B: best consumed with milk!
