Holiday Essentials – Hair, Body and Skin

I’m officially on the holiday countdown now…this time on Monday I’ll be jetting off on my jollies!

I thought I’d share my holiday beauty packing with you, mostly in the hope that it means I don’t forget anything, but also because I enjoy reading these types of posts myself.

So to start with I’m taking two cosmetic bags with me. The first being the bigger version of my make up bag from my last ‘Make Up Shake Up’ post.

Here tis’ in all it’s spotted glory…
(£7.50 from M&S)

Hair Washing:
Herbal Essences Bee Strong Shampoo and Conditioner.
John Frieda Intense After-Colour Conditioner

Hair Styling:
Batiste Dry Shampoo
Wella Resist Strengthening Foam
L’Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil
Umberto Giannini Natural Curl Spray

Sun Care
Soltan Protect and Tan – Factor 15 and 30 (Brand recommended by Kate from
Piz Buin All Day Long – Factor 15
Sports Sun Cream for face – Factor 30

Body Care
Dove Purely Pampering Body Wash
Palmers Coco Butter for dry skin
The Body Shop Monoi Miracle Oil
Body puff (Superdrug)

Then, in the second bag – Ted Baker and my absolute favourite bag…

Skin Care:
L’Oreal Micellar Solution
Garnier Make-Up Wipes
NSPA Skin Renewal Gel
Soap & Glory Scrub Your Nose In It

Odd and Ends:
Teaser Brush
Vitamin E Face Cream (should have been above but I forgot….whoops!)

And that’s pretty much it, I like to think I pack lightly, but seeing it spread out has made me re-think that statement. I think I’ll be sneaking one of the bags into The Boys suitcase!

I’d love to know what you usually take, or anything I maybe have missed out!

Watch this space for my a holiday make up and hand luggage bag post!

  1. I had the brunette Batiste one, I found it did still leave a bit of grey residue on my hair but nowhere near as bad as non-coloured ones and it was easily brushed out

  2. I am using that deodorant at the moment! Is the Dove body wash the shea and vanilla? I bought the moisturiser in that scent a few days ago and I LOVE it!
