Superdrug Revitalising Raspberry & Macadamia Nut | Shampoo & Conditioner

After my love affair with Macadamia’s Flawless, I wanted to try something else with the Macadamia ingredient in it. I looked around a bit, but nothing jumped out at me; then on a random visit to Superdrug I found that they stock a Raspberry and Macadamia Nut range, within their own range of shampoos and conditioners, and at 98p (special offer, RRP £1.99) for 400ml, per bottle I thought it was definitely worth testing out.

The Raspberry and Macadamia range is suited to coloured hair, to help add radiance back into chemically damaged locks.

Both of them have quite a strong fruity fragrance, something you’d expect from a raspberry scented product. It’s a nice smell which lingers around on the hair for ages, literally by day three I could still smell it.

The shampoo lathered up nicely, and left my hair feeling clean and soft – it’s quite a strange consistency, a bit jelly like really. The conditioner is thick and moisturising, and a little bit goes a long way, which is a good thing for those of us with long, thick hair. It’s not so thick that it leaves the hair feeling weighed down or greasy.

I have to say I didn’t overly notice the macadamia element of the duo, my hair was nice and soft, but it didn’t feel like it had a huge amount of TLC given to it.

For the price, and the overall quality of this duo I’d say you’d be onto a winner with it. It definitely is one of those budget friendly shampoos and conditioners which actually works well.

  1. I tried the cherry conditioner the other day and it made my hair pretty soft. – I’ve since swapped back to Herbal Essence Bee Strong but you can’t really complain for £2 can you?

  2. Oooh, I like the sound of this. Herbal Essences did a raspberry shampoo, which i tried and loved but this is way cheaper. xx
